Buying a house may seem straightforward to some but more of an obstacle to others. It is not something that most of us do very often and, with so much money at stake, many prospective buyers seek professional and impartial advice.

Other house buyers have neither the time nor the inclination to take on board the full range of issues associated with property acquisition. This is especially true for couples who both work or have extensive family commitments. Driving around the suburbs on Saturday afternoon, with two bored and crabby kids, is not an ideal family outing!

For these reasons, many turn to Corser Property to act as their buyer's advocate.

The process normally begins with a briefing by the clients to map out their key requirements-such as location, size and layout of residence, budget-the trade-offs between them and any optional extras.

Once the purchase brief has been finalised, clients may choose from our menu of services. It includes:

locating, inspecting and evaluating properties for the client's consideration;
recommending professional services-including legal, financial and building inspection services;

conducting the due diligence-covering title, caveats, covenants, easements, VicRoads certificates, orders on the property, body corporate information forunits, etc;

representing the client at auction and at any prior or subsequent negotiations with the vendor; and

managing the property after acquisition, if desired.
